The Milton Solo is one of our new generation of sterilisers, and is designed to be quick and easy to use, keep baby safe and give all new parents complete peace-of-mind. Unique Safety Vent Technology An innovative pop-up safety vent allows some pressure to form inside the Solo. When enough steam is generated the vent pops up to gently release the pressure. This means more heat is created inside Solo which, in turn, means better sterilisation and maximum protection for your baby. Features - For travel, overnight stays or days out - Convenient to sterilise a single bottle whenever you need it. - Fast and Easy - Sterilises in just 2 minutes in the microwave or 15 minutes with cold water. - 100% watertight - Perfect to pop in your change bag. - Stays Sterile for longer 2 ways to sterilise with your Solo 1) The Cold Water Method 1 Clean Wash all bottle parts in warm soapy water, then rinse in cold water. 2 Add Bottle and Teat Place everything inside the Milton Solo, with the bottle opening facing upwards. Then pour water into the bottle until it overflows into the Milton Solo and reaches the 1.25L fill line. Add 1 quarter of a standard Milton Sterilising Tablet or 1 quarter-cap of Milton Sterilising Fluid (7.5 ml). 3 Close, Shake and Wait Screw the lid on, press the safety vent down and gently shake the Milton Solo - the bottle will be ready for use in just 15 minutes and can stay in the solution until needed. Shake off any excess water before use, there's no need to rinse. 2) The Microwave Method 1 Clean Wash all bottle parts in warm soapy water, then rinse in cold water. 2 Fill Pour exactly 60ml of water into the Milton Solo 3 Load and Close Place everything inside the Milton Solo, with the bottle opening facing downwards. Screw the lid on, and then press the safety vent down. 4 Microwave The Milton Solo should be put upright in a microwave, but can be placed on its side in compact models. Microwave for: 2 mins at 1100-1850W 4 mins at 850-1000W 6 mins at 500-800W Full instructions are inside - please read the leaflet carefully and keep it for future reference.
