About Condorelli
Condorelli is an iconic Sicilian confectionery company founded in 1933 by Francesco Condorelli in Belpasso, on the slopes of Mount Etna. What began as a small pastry shop has grown into an internationally recognised producer of fine Italian confections, exporting to 27 countries and producing 200 million nougats annually. In 2002, Francesco Condorelli was appointed Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic—Italy's highest civilian honour. The company is famous for inventing torroncini—soft, individually-sized nougat pieces—in the 1970s. The innovation came after Francesco witnessed his mother struggling with traditional hard nougat and promised her "you will eat soft nougat." This customer-focused philosophy extended to their almond milk (latte di mandorla), described as "the almond milk par excellence" thanks to its ancient Sicilian recipe and exceptionally high concentration of 11% Italian almonds. Today, Condorelli S.p.A. is led by CEO Giuseppe Condorelli, who joined his father's company in 1993. The product range has expanded to include marzipan, chocolate-covered almonds, pistachio drinks, and other Sicilian delicacies. The company remains headquartered in Belpasso, maintaining its connection to the volcanic soils of Etna that give Sicilian almonds and pistachios their distinctive character. UK shoppers can find Condorelli almond drinks at supermarkets including Tesco. Grocefully helps you compare prices on authentic Sicilian almond beverages, bringing nearly a century of Italian confectionery tradition to your table at competitive UK prices.
