About Krupnik
Krupnik is a traditional Polish honey vodka liqueur with over 400 years of history, dating back to the 16th century when Bénédictine monks created it at a monastery in Nieśwież in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (now Niaśviž, Belarus). It's one of Poland's most cherished traditional drinks. This golden liqueur is made with grain vodka, wild bee honey, and exotic spices, creating a sweet and spicy warming drink. Traditionally, Krupnik was made by noble families and served to guests as a symbol of hospitality - often prepared by the mistress of the house in front of visitors. In Poland, it's traditionally served at Wigilia (Christmas Eve supper) and can be enjoyed hot, at room temperature, or chilled. The commercial Krupnik brand is produced by Belvédère company using an authentic old recipe from southeast Poland with carefully selected honey varieties. In 2014, Krupnik vodka was the eighth most popular vodka brand in the world by sales volume. The UK range includes plain Krupnik Vodka, Cherry flavour, and Nuts Vodka Liqueur.
