About Mighty Slice
Mighty Slice is a British high-protein dessert brand founded in 2021 by Emily Tout and Jamie Cumming, with Chelsea FC captain Reece James as a co-founder. The company makes indulgent cheesecake slices that are high in protein and low in sugar, offering a healthier alternative to traditional desserts. The brand was born from founder Emily Tout's frustration with the lack of healthy dessert options in supermarkets. As someone committed to a healthy lifestyle, she found herself not indulging in dessert as often as she'd like. She began making her own protein cheesecakes in her kitchen, sharing them with family and friends. Demand grew so rapidly that Emily quit her day job as a lawyer to launch Mighty Slice. Each Mighty Slice cheesecake contains 16g of protein per 115g slice while being lower in sugar than traditional cheesecakes. Flavours include Caramelised Biscuit, Zesty Lemon, and Cookies 'n' Cream - offering gym-goers and health-conscious consumers a guilt-free indulgence. The company raised £750,000 in investment backed by notable names including Giles Brook (experienced food investor), YouTuber WillNe (over 7 million subscribers), and Harry Hugo (co-founder of The Goat Agency). The business is on track to break £1 million in sales in 2025. Mighty Slice has secured impressive retail distribution including Sainsbury's, Asda (267 stores nationwide), Morrisons, Ocado, and Booths, with products often featured in supermarket meal deal options. Based in London, the brand represents the growing trend for protein-enhanced everyday foods.
