Professor Puzzle is a British puzzles and games company founded in London in 2002. The company's origin story began when its founder discovered ancient metal puzzles sold on the streets of Calcutta during travels to a far-flung corner of the world. Inspired to spread a passion for puzzling, he trained to make metal-bending puzzles and established formal manufacturing in London, creating Professor Puzzle Ltd. Starting with metal puzzles crafted in their UK workshop, the company soon expanded to include wooden puzzles manufactured in the Far East. This growth allowed Professor Puzzle to claim the title of the world's leading puzzle supplier. Twenty years on, they continue fulfilling their mission to become the world's leading games and puzzle company, with products available in over 40 countries. Based at The Puzzle Academy in Twickenham, Middlesex, with additional offices in Chicago, Professor Puzzle has grown into a major international distributor. Their products are available in almost every UK High Street retailer and hundreds of independent stores across the US and UK. The company employs approximately 68 staff and was recognised as Small Business of the Year at the 2016 Nectar Small Business Awards.
