About Snopake
Snopake is a British office supplies brand with roots dating back to 1955, when Snopake correction fluid—one of the world's first—was developed by the Battelle Institute of America and introduced to the UK by Ronald E. Southey of Colyer and Southey Ltd. Snopake Ltd was officially incorporated in 1987 and pioneered the first hard-wearing polypropylene filing products for the stationery market in 1988. Today, Snopake Brands is a privately owned British company headquartered in West London near Heathrow Airport, with a distribution centre in East Anglia. The company manages three leading brands: Snopake for stationery and filing products, Swordfish for office machines, and Platignum for writing instruments. Each brand focuses on key sections of the stationery, office products, and business machines market. The product range has expanded significantly from the original correction fluid to include polyfiles, zippa bags, ring binders, and various filing solutions. In 2005, the company launched Swordfish, offering high-quality but affordable paper shredders, paper trimmers, pencil sharpeners, laminators, and electrical accessories. In 2024, Snopake introduced their ReBorn range as part of a major sustainability initiative. These products are made entirely from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, certified by the Global Recycled Standard. This commitment to environmental responsibility demonstrates Snopake's evolution over more than 65 years from correction fluid pioneers to comprehensive, sustainable office solutions provider.
