About Watts Farms
Watts Farms is a family-run fresh produce business based in Kent, operating across 10 sites in Kent, Essex, and Bedfordshire. Farming over 600 hectares of land, they grow 60 different crops in more than 100 varieties of vegetables, fruits, salads, and herbs, employing nearly 200 people. This scale and diversity positions Watts Farms as a one-stop shop for fresh produce, serving everyone from major supermarkets to local restaurants. The customer base for Watts Farms demonstrates their versatility and reputation for quality. They supply over 500 restaurants, major retailers, the NHS, high-end hotels, airlines, schools, and a growing direct-to-consumer market. This range from five-star kitchens to hospital canteens reflects the consistent quality and reliability that has built their reputation over decades of family farming in the Garden of England. The COVID-19 pandemic prompted Watts Farms to innovate with their Home Delivery service, launched by Ed Gray just two weeks into the first lockdown when hospitality customers temporarily closed. What began as an emergency pivot has become a permanent offering, with their online farm shop now delivering produce throughout Kent, Surrey, and nationwide. Beyond their own crops, they source from other UK growers to offer a comprehensive range including dairy, meat, fish, ambient, and frozen products. Operating from their base at Quarry Wood Industrial Estate in Aylesford, Kent, Watts Farms embodies the "Produced in Kent" ethos. Their farm-to-table approach means customers receive genuinely fresh, locally-grown produce with full traceability. Whether ordering through their online shop or encountering their products in supermarkets and restaurants, Watts Farms delivers authentic British produce from the heart of Kent's agricultural heritage.
