About Nails Inc
Nails Inc is Britain's leading independent nail polish brand, founded in 1999 by Thea Green MBE. The company began when Green spotted a gap in the market for speedy, efficient manicures with fashionable, high-quality nail polish during her travels between London and New York. With £200,000 raised from investors, the first store opened on South Molton Street in London's West End. From humble beginnings, Nails Inc has become the UK's number one nail bar chain with stores across Britain, the US, Australia, and Japan. The brand generates nearly half of its $40 million revenues from the American market—a testament to its global appeal. In a reported £30 million deal, Nails Inc was acquired by private equity firm Pacific World Corporation, though founder Thea Green continues to lead the company. The Nails Inc product range includes over 150 shades across multiple finishes: gel effect, glitter, glossy, nude, pastel, and matte. Every polish contains an exclusive regenerating complex—a blend of aldehyde, zinc, and calcium—for long wear, high-gloss shine, and nail health. The bestselling Gel Effect range uses revolutionary plasticiser technology for a salon-quality gel finish without UV lamps or soak-off removal. The NailKale superfood range nourishes nails with kale extract. The brand is known for innovative collaborations with fashion icons including Victoria Beckham, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Alexa Chung, as well as playful food brand partnerships with Magnum, McDonald's, Froot Loops, and Velveeta. The 2025 collections include the "It's Topless" range featuring 4-in-1 formulas and the "45 Second Speedy Gloss" line. All Nails Inc products are 100% cruelty-free, and the brand is working towards becoming fully vegan. In 2017, the company launched INC.redible Cosmetics as a sister brand. Thea Green was appointed MBE in 2011 for services to the beauty industry. Nails Inc is available at Selfridges, John Lewis, Boots, Sephora, QVC, LookFantastic, and Amazon.
