About Panku
Panku Streetfood is a UK pan-Asian street food brand founded by friends Neil Nugent and Andy Upton, bringing together favourite flavours from Japan, Korea, and Thailand. The name Panku is Japanese for "Punk," reflecting the brand's bold, irreverent approach to Asian cuisine. Since launching an exclusive partnership with Asda in March 2020, Panku has opened concessions in Asda stores across the UK, where food is freshly prepared daily in-store. The brand offers a unique proposition - restaurant-quality Asian street food available to enjoy immediately or heat at home. Panku's range includes signature dishes like Korean Style Fried Chicken with sweet chilli sauce, Teriyaki Style Fried Chicken, Tempura Prawns, and filling noodle bowls. Their Korean chicken is served with shredded vegetables, beni shoga (pickled ginger), spring onions, and mixed sesame seeds. The heat-at-home ready meals include Teriyaki Chicken Noodle Bowls and Korean Chicken Rice Bowls, offering convenient access to authentic street food flavours without the restaurant prices. Panku is also available for delivery via Uber Eats at select locations, making pan-Asian street food accessible across the UK.
