About Rainbow High
Rainbow High is an award-winning fashion doll franchise created by Michael Scott Anderson and released by American toy giant MGA Entertainment in 2020. Originally developed as a spin-off from the Poopsie Slime Surprise brand, Rainbow High quickly became a phenomenon, ranking as the #1 doll and #1 fashion doll in the United States for 2021 according to NPD Group consumer purchase data. The concept centres on a prestigious fashion school where "only a chosen few with an eye for bold fashions can follow the rainbow" - a colourful academy where students learn to flaunt their true colours through self-expression. The original 2020 lineup introduced iconic characters including Ruby Anderson, Poppy Rowan, Sunny Madison, Jade Hunter, Skyler Bradshaw, Violet Willow, Bella Parker, and Amaya Raine. Rainbow High dolls stand at 24cm (approximately 11 inches) with high-quality hard plastic bodies and nylon hair. Female dolls feature 11 points of articulation (head, arms, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees), while male dolls have 13 points including additional ankle articulation. Each doll comes with two complete outfits and a doll stand. Diversity and inclusion are core brand values. "Our steadfast commitment to the themes of diversity and inclusivity across design and storytelling have set Rainbow High apart from other fashion dolls on the market today," stated Isaac Larian, MGA Entertainment's Founder and CEO. The line represents more than 30 unique head sculpts, 20+ skin tones, and a wide range of unique eye shapes. MGA Entertainment, founded in 1979, is one of the world's leading toy manufacturers, known for Bratz, L.O.L. Surprise!, Baby Born, and Little Tikes. Rainbow High continues to expand with new collections including Pacific Coast and Shadow High spin-offs.
