About SkinChemists
SkinChemists is a British luxury skincare brand founded in London in 2010 by Richard Walker, with pharmaceutical heritage tracing back to 1890 through Thomas Ridley & Sons Chemists. The company's story is deeply connected to the Walker family's pharmaceutical legacy, with Richard's father Francis Walker graduating as a pharmaceutical chemist and creating one of the first vegan botanical skin creams by fusing elderflower with natural moisturisers in 1958. Inspired by his father's pioneering work, Richard Walker BSc (Hons) set out to create treatments that deliver real, visible results fast. He travelled extensively, working alongside pharmacists, chemists, scientists, and beauticians worldwide to develop formulations the market seemed to lack - products that genuinely work. In 2010, this mission culminated in the revolutionary Wrinkle Killer Snake Serum. The success of Wrinkle Killer propelled SkinChemists onto the international stage, establishing the brand as a leader in results-driven luxury skincare. The company's commitment to meaningful, effective formulations reflects the innovation and integrity established by Thomas Ridley & Sons Chemists in 19th-century London, a legacy that lives on through every product. Today, SkinChemists is headquartered at Saint John Street in London's EC1, offering a comprehensive range of premium skincare treatments. The brand has grown from its family pharmacy roots into a global luxury skincare company, maintaining the pharmaceutical precision and botanical expertise that has defined the Walker family's approach to skincare for generations.
