About Who Gives A Crap
Who Gives A Crap is the Australian sustainable toilet paper company founded in 2012 by Simon Griffiths, Danny Alexander, and Jehan Ratnatunga. Inspired by learning that over 2 billion people lack access to a toilet, they launched with a legendary Indiegogo campaign where Simon sat on a toilet for 50 hours until they raised $50,000. The company donates 50% of all profits to build toilets and provide clean water worldwide. Since launching in 2013, Who Gives A Crap has donated over $18 million to charities including WaterAid, while growing to serve 36 countries from warehouses in Australia, the UK, US, and Netherlands. The brand offers two sustainable options: bamboo toilet paper (bamboo grows 30 times faster than trees without pesticides) and recycled toilet paper (95% post-consumer waste paper from newspapers, textbooks, and office paper). The colourful paper-wrapped rolls have become iconic, proving sustainable can also be fun. The range has expanded to include facial tissues, compostable food waste bags, bin bags, and sponge cloths. All products are plastic-free and designed with environmental impact in mind. Manufacturing takes place in China, which enables paper wrappers, recycled packaging, and better access to sustainable raw materials. Compare Who Gives A Crap prices at UK supermarkets on Grocefully.
