About Graze
Graze is a British healthy snacking brand founded in 2008 by seven friends brought together by Graham Bosher, co-founder of LOVEFiLM. The concept was conceived in 2005, starting as a pioneering snack box delivery service before expanding into UK retail stores. By 2015, Graze's iconic punnets were available in 1,600 retail stores across the UK. The Carlyle Group acquired Graze in 2012, driving substantial growth. In 2019, Unilever purchased the brand following a bidding war with Kellogg and PepsiCo, seeking to boost its presence in the better-for-you snack category. Under Unilever, Graze evolved from a primarily direct-to-consumer brand to one with strong retail presence and updated visual identity. Graze achieved B Corp certification in February 2021, committing to positive impact on workers, customers, and the planet. However, the brand struggled under Unilever's ownership. In early 2024, the classic subscription box service ended, with a new monthly box launched in April 2024 before being discontinued after three months. In December 2025, Unilever agreed to sell Graze to Katjes International—the parent company of Jamie Laing's Candy Kittens. This aligns with Unilever's strategy to focus on core categories. The sale is expected to complete in the first half of 2026. The Graze product range includes portioned punnets and sharing bags of nuts, seeds, dried fruit, flapjacks, protein bites, and mixed snacks. Products are positioned as healthier snacking options with controlled portions and better-for-you ingredients. Graze is available at UK supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Boots, and WHSmith.
