About Raffaello
Raffaello is a premium coconut-almond confectionery brand created by Italian manufacturer Ferrero and launched in 1990. Known for its distinctive white, spherical pralines coated in fragrant coconut flakes, Raffaello has become synonymous with elegant gifting and light indulgence. Each Raffaello confection consists of a delicate spherical wafer filled with smooth white milk cream surrounding a whole blanched almond, then enrobed in a layer of shredded coconut. The combination creates a unique taste experience - crisp, creamy, nutty and coconut-sweet. Originally launched as "Confetteria Raffaello," the brand embodies "Piacere Puro" (pure pleasure) and is positioned as a premium gifting choice. Ferrero was founded in 1946 in Alba, Piedmont, Italy by Pietro Ferrero, the creator of Nutella. Today Ferrero is one of the world's largest confectionery companies with over 35 iconic brands sold in more than 170 countries. Raffaello is manufactured at Ferrero facilities including factories in Belgium, Canada and Russia, with Russia being the largest market for the brand. Since its 1990 launch, the Raffaello range has expanded beyond the original praline balls to include chocolate bars and ice cream variants, making the coconut-almond flavour experience available in new formats. The distinctive white packaging and elegant presentation make Raffaello a popular choice for gifts, celebrations and special occasions.
