About Soffles
Soffle's Pitta Chips is an artisan snack brand born in the heart of East London, founded by pitta lover Sophie - affectionately known as "Soffle" - after an inspired moment of culinary experimentation. What started as homemade snacks for friends in her Hackney kitchen has grown into a beloved British snack brand known for all-natural pitta chips with exceptional crunch and authentic flavours. The origin story is delightfully grassroots. After hearing from a friend about oven-roasting pitta bread, Sophie headed to local shops in Stoke Newington to buy pitta, chillies, and garlic, creating her first batch of "extremely wild pitta chips." The party snacks proved so popular that a garden shed was transformed into "pitta heaven" - a mini production line that laid the foundations for the brand. What distinguishes Soffle's from conventional snacks is the commitment to natural ingredients and healthier preparation. These pitta chips are baked, not fried, and oven roasted with olive oil to achieve their signature satisfying crunch. There are no powdered flavourings, no additives, and no preservatives - just 100% natural pitta chip goodness using fresh ingredients. This straightforward approach results in a unique fresh taste that sets them apart from typical crisp alternatives. The range showcases herb-forward, Mediterranean-inspired flavours. The bestselling Rosemary & Thyme offers aromatic warmth, while Black Pepper, Sea Salt & Olive Oil delivers classic sophistication. Chilli & Garlic brings gentle heat, and Sundried Tomato & Basil evokes Italian summers. All varieties are vegan-friendly and suitable for health-conscious snackers. Available in 60g classic packs and larger share bag formats, Soffle's Pitta Chips are stocked at Tesco and other UK retailers. The brand also operates a vintage Italian Tuk Tuk named Federica for events and local deliveries - a quirky touch that reflects their artisan East London character. Perfect for enjoying with beers and dips before dinner, just as Sophie originally intended.
