About Wildfarmed
Wildfarmed is a pioneering UK regenerative agriculture brand founded in 2018 by Andy Cato (one half of electronic music duo Groove Armada), financier Edd Lees, and former broadcaster George Lamb. Based in Oxfordshire, the company buys and mills "population wheat" from UK farms committed to regenerative practices. What makes Wildfarmed unique is their commitment to low-input farming - no pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides. Instead, farmers in the Wildfarmed system plant beans alongside wheat for nitrogen, use species-rich cover crops, and integrate grazing animals to build soil health. This approach sequesters carbon, improves biodiversity, and produces wheat that tastes better and is better for health. The brand has achieved remarkable commercial success, with Wildfarmed flour now used in Greggs bread products, M&S bakery items, and ASK Italian pizzas. The retail range includes sliced breads, seeded rolls, and white rolls - bringing regenerative benefits to everyday shoppers. Wildfarmed flour varieties include strong white bread flour, wholemeal, all-purpose (plain), cake flour, and pizza & flatbread flour - available through retailers like M&S, Abel & Cole, and independent stockists.
