About Aspall
Aspall is a premium English cider and vinegar producer founded in 1728 by Clement Chevallier in the Suffolk hamlet of Aspall. Operating continuously from its original Cyder House for nearly three centuries, Aspall is the number one super premium cider brand in Great Britain and produces specialty vinegars using a unique fermentation process. The brand was acquired by Molson Coors in 2018 for £40 million after 290 years of independent family ownership. In 2025, Molson Coors announced a further £10 million investment to improve energy efficiency at the Suffolk facility, following a £13 million capacity expansion completed in 2022. Aspall employs over 130 people in Suffolk and produces all products using 100% renewable electricity. Aspall Organic Cyder Vinegar is made using a fermentation process that is the only one of its kind in the world. The vinegar range is popular for cooking, dressings, and health uses.
