About Big Drop
Big Drop Brewing Co is a pioneering British alcohol-free craft beer company founded in October 2016 by Rob Fink, a former City lawyer, and James Kindred, an acclaimed designer. Both had recently become fathers and, wanting to cut back on alcohol, realised there were no quality alternatives to their favourite craft beers - so they decided to create a new category. Big Drop was the first dedicated alcohol-free brewery in the UK and among the first two or three in the world. Working with Johnny Clayton, formerly of Wild Beer Co and one of Britain's finest experimental brewers, they developed innovative techniques to create 0.5% ABV beers without artificially removing alcohol. By using less grain and a less efficient yeast strain, they craft beers that taste like the real thing from the start. The brand exploded onto the scene with critical acclaim. Their Milk Stout was praised by the British Guild of Beer Writers as "the most impressive no/low alcohol beer I have ever tried." In 2017, their Pale Ale won World's Best Pale Beer at the World Beer Awards - and the accolades kept coming. Big Drop has now won over 100 international beer awards, including seven World's Best titles - more than any UK brewer. The range includes styles like Paradiso Citra IPA, Pine Trail Pale Ale, Galactic Milk Stout, and seasonal specials, proving that alcohol-free beer can match the complexity and flavour of traditional craft brews.
