About Divine
Divine Chocolate is a pioneering British Fairtrade chocolate company established in 1998, uniquely co-owned by Kuapa Kokoo cocoa farmers' cooperative in Ghana. This ownership structure means cocoa farmers gain a share of the wealth they create, have a voice in how things are run, and their needs are genuinely listened to. As of 2025, Kuapa Kokoo maintains a 20% share in the company, with German chocolate maker Ludwig Weinrich as the new majority shareholder. Divine holds exceptional ethical credentials. They are the highest-rated Food and Drink B Corp in the UK and a multi-year honouree recognised as "Best for the World - Communities" by B Corporation certifiers. Every Divine product is 100% Fairtrade, palm oil free, and made with natural ingredients. In September 2025, Divine launched their first TV campaign after winning £120,000 of Channel 4 airtime in a competition showcasing sustainable B Corp businesses. Originally founded with support from Twin Trading, The Body Shop, Christian Aid, and Comic Relief, Divine has grown into a leading ethical chocolate brand while staying true to its farmer-first mission. The range includes milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, seasonal products, and drinking chocolate. Available at UK supermarkets and ethical retailers, Divine proves that choosing chocolate can support farming communities while enjoying premium taste.
