About Goodfellas
Goodfella's is a leading frozen pizza brand created in Ireland in 1993 by Green Isle Foods. Now part of Nomad Foods (Europe's leading frozen food company and owner of Birds Eye), Goodfella's has become one of the UK and Ireland's most popular frozen pizza brands with pizzas made fresh daily in their Irish factories. The brand's journey began with Green Isle Foods in Naas, Ireland. After being acquired by Northern Foods in 1995, then 2 Sisters Food Group in 2011, Goodfella's was purchased by Nomad Foods in April 2018 for €225 million. This brought Goodfella's into the same family as Birds Eye, Findus, and other major frozen food brands across Europe. Goodfella's pizzas are produced across three main ranges: Stonebaked Thin, Deep Pan, and Takeaway. The Stonebaked Thin range is made from individual dough balls prepared fresh daily, rested for perfect flavour, and baked on authentic Italian stone for that characteristic crispy base. Deep Pan pizzas feature a traditional thick base loaded with toppings and cheese. The Takeaway range replicates takeaway-style pizzas with generous toppings. Production takes place at two Irish facilities - the Naas factory produces Stonebaked and Deep Pan pizzas, while the Longford factory specialises in the Takeaway range. Popular flavours include Pepperoni, Margherita, Loaded Cheese, and Spicy Chicken Sizzler across the different base styles.
