About Greenlight
Greenlight Collectibles is a premier American manufacturer of authentic die-cast vehicle replicas, renowned for capturing iconic cars from movies, TV shows, and automotive history. Founded in 2002 in Indianapolis by Kevin Davey, a former Indianapolis Motor Speedway licensing executive, the company has grown from producing IndyCar replicas to becoming one of the world's most respected names in collectible model vehicles. The company's breakthrough came through strategic entertainment licensing, beginning with their successful 2010 release of the Ford Mustang from the film Bullitt. Under new ownership from 2013 (Russell Hughes, Tom van der Scheun, and Fred Lo), Greenlight aggressively expanded its movie and TV licensing portfolio. Today, top sellers include vehicles from Fast and Furious, Gone in 60 Seconds, Supernatural, and numerous other beloved properties. Greenlight produces die-cast models in multiple scales—1:12, 1:18, 1:24, 1:43, and 1:64—with 1:64 scale being their most popular format. Collectors particularly prize the limited "Green Machine" line, representing just 3% of any production run with special chase variants. The company has expanded through acquisitions including GMP, Highway 61, First Response Replicas, and Precision Collection. Recognised twice as one of Indiana's "Fast 25" fastest-growing private companies, Greenlight sells products in over 40 countries. While 70% of sales are domestic US, the brand has developed a strong following among UK collectors through specialist retailers, appealing to the 80%+ adult collector demographic that values authentic automotive replicas.
