About Nalas Baby
Nala's Baby is an award-winning British baby skincare brand founded by rapper Casyo 'Krept' Johnson and health and beauty influencer Sasha Ellese Gilbert. The brand is named after their daughter Nala, born in June 2020, who inspired its creation when she was diagnosed with eczema - a condition affecting one in five UK children. During pregnancy, Sasha became concerned about harmful ingredients in mainstream baby products. When Nala developed eczema, Sasha began creating natural creams and lotions at home that proved highly effective. This inspired the launch of Nala's Baby - a Black-owned, British-made brand offering naturally clean, affordable skincare for all skin types. The brand has attracted celebrity investors including supermodel Jourdan Dunn, boxer Anthony Joshua, and footballers Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho. Now stocked in over 3,000 stores including 1,500 Boots locations, 475 Tesco stores, 450 Superdrug shops, and 400 Sainsbury's. All products are 100% vegan and free from sulphates, phthalates, GMOs, synthetic colours, and petrolatum. UK supermarkets stock the award-winning Nala's Baby range including Body Wash & Shampoo, Body Lotion, Body Butter, Nighttime Oil, and Hair Conditioner in Vanilla Cloud or fragrance-free variants. The brand has won Mother & Baby Gold Award for Best Baby Skincare Range twice and a Black British Business Award 2023.
