About Toffifee
Toffifee is an iconic German confectionery brand created by August Storck KG, first launched in West Germany in 1973 as the world's first candy of its kind. The innovative treat combines the four most popular confectionery ingredients worldwide into one irresistible bite. Each Toffifee piece features a crunchy whole hazelnut nestled in smooth caramel, filled with creamy nougat, and topped with a dark chocolate button. This four-layer construction creates a unique flavour and texture experience that has made Toffifee a true bestseller for over 50 years. Originally marketed in Germany as a product "for the whole family," Toffifee quickly expanded internationally and is now enjoyed in over 100 countries. The distinctive brown box design has remained largely unchanged, becoming instantly recognisable to generations of chocolate lovers. August Storck KG, headquartered in Berlin, has been manufacturing Toffifee at their main facility in Halle, North Rhine-Westphalia since its creation. The company maintains Storck UK offices in Basingstoke, Hampshire, and acquired British chocolate maker Bendicks in Winchester in 1988. In UK supermarkets, Toffifee is available in various pack sizes from the standard 125g box (15 pieces) to larger sharing sizes of 400g. The product remains a popular choice for gifts, sharing occasions, and personal treats throughout the year, with sales peaking during Christmas and Easter. Interestingly, the brand is marketed under the alternate spelling "Toffifay" in the United States with different white packaging, while retaining its original "Toffifee" spelling and brown box design in the UK, Europe, and Canada.
