About Tomos Watkin
Tomos Watkin is an award-winning Welsh brewery founded in 1995 by Simon Buckley, dedicated to brewing the great ales of Wales. Originally established behind the Castle Hotel in Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire, the brewery opened its doors in February 1996 and has since become one of Wales's most celebrated craft breweries. The brewery expanded in 2000 when it moved to larger premises in Swansea, later becoming part of the Hurns Brewing Company in 2002. Hurns has its own distinguished heritage, having been originally established as the Hurns Mineral Water Company by Arthur A. Hurn in the late 1800s. The brewery remains proudly family owned and operated, with the Drummonds taking over ownership in August 2023 under the Drop Bear Beer Co umbrella. Tomos Watkin produces an impressive range of Welsh ales that celebrate the country's brewing traditions. Their portfolio includes Miners Pride, Blodwen Blonde Ale, Dragon's Keep IPA, and Cwrw Braf among other traditional Welsh beers. More than 60% of their production is bottled beer, making their ales widely accessible to customers across the UK through supermarkets and off-licences. Operating from Unit 3c Century Park on Swansea Enterprise Park, Tomos Watkin continues to champion Welsh brewing culture. UK shoppers can find Tomos Watkin beers at major retailers, and Grocefully helps compare prices across supermarkets to find the best deals on these authentic Welsh ales. Whether you're looking for a traditional bitter or a refreshing blonde ale, Tomos Watkin offers quality Welsh brewing with nearly three decades of expertise.
